Pork Lettuce Wraps


  • 150g   Minced Pork

  • 100g   Water Chestnuts

  • 80g   Dried Shrimp

  • 80g   Shiitake Mushrooms

  • 50g   Pine Nuts

  • Half a head of Lettuce

  • To taste Oyster Sauce

  • To taste Soy Sauce


  1. Marinate the minced pork with a small amount of salt and soy sauce (about half an hour).

  1. Wash, peel and dice the water chestnuts.

  1. Rehydrate the dried shrimp and mushrooms in water. Dice both into a similar size as the water chestnuts.

  1. Toast the pine nuts off in a dry pan, and save for garnish.

  2. Wash and prepare the lettuce.

  3. Stir-fry each diced ingredient seperately until cooked. Mix the cooked ingredients together in the pan and add oyster sauce and soy sauce to taste.

  1. Serve by sprinkling the toasted pine nuts on top. Eat by wrapping in lettuce.
