Pan-Fried Oysters In Honey Sauce


  • 6 oysters

  • 2 slices of ginger

  • 1 scallion

  • Some cornstarch


  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon of cooking wine

  • 1 tablespoon of honey


  1. Gently mix the oysters in cornstarch. Soak them in water and rinse for a few times until the water is clear.

  2. Dry the oysters. Use paper towel to pat dry and make sure they are completely dry.

  3. Put cornstarch on both sides of the oysters.

  4. Cook the ginger slices and the scallion until they are aromatic. Then, put in the oysters and pan fry them. Sear both sides well.

  5. Take out the oyster, the ginger and the scallion. Pour in the soy sauce, cooking wine and honey. Cook until it boils.

  6. Put the oysters back in and stir fry quicky until the sauce thickens.
